More than choosing a darker shade.

Window tint is a film applied to automotive glass to change its appearance and performance. Depending on the product, it can help manage glare, reduce solar heat entering the cabin, and provide UV protection. It can also give the vehicle a more coordinated appearance. The shade describes how much visible light passes through; it does not tell you everything about the film’s heat performance or construction.

CoastalGloss helps you think about the result as a whole: comfort, visibility, appearance, existing glass, and suitable coverage. A lighter high-performance film can serve a different purpose from a darker appearance-focused choice. Existing factory privacy glass also needs to be considered when planning the overall look. We discuss material and shade options for your car and confirm a suitable installation plan, including applicable requirements, before the work begins.

Find your balance.

Film availability, shade, and coverage are confirmed for your vehicle. Appearance and performance are separate choices.

Comfort with the right product

Ceramic film options

Ceramic window films are a category to explore when heat management is a priority. Product performance varies, and darkness alone is not a reliable measure of heat rejection. We can discuss the available material and its specifications alongside the shade you prefer.

NO CORNERS
CUT.

No corners cut means clean glass, controlled fitting, and careful finishing. A good-looking installation depends on preparation as much as the selected shade.

Select film & coverage

We discuss appearance, comfort, visibility, and the existing glass. The material, shade, and windows included in the job are confirmed before installation.

Prepare the glass

Glass and accessible edges are thoroughly cleaned, with old film and adhesive addressed where required. Nearby surfaces are protected as appropriate while the installation area is prepared.

Shape & apply

Film is sized for the glass and shaped where needed to suit curved surfaces. During application, alignment and solution removal receive attention to support a clean fit and consistent edges.

Inspect & allow drying

The finished windows are checked and the film is allowed to settle. We explain when to lower the windows, when to clean the glass, and what temporary moisture or haze may be normal for the selected film and conditions.
