A new look, down to the details.

Vinyl wrapping lets you change the appearance of your vehicle by applying a purpose-made film over its existing paint. You can transform the entire exterior, introduce a second color, or focus on a handful of details that change the character of the car. The choice goes beyond color: gloss, satin, matte, metallic, textured, and chrome-effect materials each reflect light differently and bring out different parts of the bodywork.

At CoastalGloss, the design starts with the whole vehicle. We look at the paint color, wheels, trim, body lines, and the result you want before settling on a finish. A gloss-black roof can create contrast, a chrome delete can bring bright trim into line with darker wheels, and a full wrap can give a familiar car a completely different presence. We discuss coverage, visible edges, material care, and the existing paint before the work begins. Film samples are the best way to judge a finish in person.

Full color change

Change the main exterior panels to a new color and finish. A full exterior wrap gives the body a coordinated appearance while leaving room for contrasting mirrors, a roof, or other accents. Door jambs and hidden painted areas are a separate coverage discussion, so you know where the original color may remain visible.

  • Gloss, satin, matte, metallic, and specialty materials
  • Exterior panel coverage agreed before installation
  • Optional contrasting accents

NO CORNERS
CUT.

No corners cut means giving preparation, film placement, and edge finishing the same attention as the color itself. The installation plan follows the vehicle and the chosen material.

Inspect & plan

We review the existing paint, previous repairs, panel shapes, and the agreed coverage. Seams, inlays, and any necessary trim access are planned before fitting the film. Unsound paint needs to be addressed before a wrap is considered.

Clean beyond the surface

Washing and decontamination are followed by careful cleaning around panel edges, gaps, and trim. Wax, oil, residue, and trapped moisture can interfere with adhesion, so these areas matter just as much as the visible panel.

Fit the material with control

The film is positioned and worked around the body with suitable tools and controlled heat. Managing tension helps preserve the intended color and texture. Knifeless tape or other paint-safe finishing methods are used where appropriate to the installation.

Finish edges & check the fit

Edges and corners receive deliberate attention. Recesses and stretched areas are finished and post-heated as required by the film manufacturer. We check the installation and explain the care requirements for your chosen finish before collection.
